MAFFRA MAYHEM - Cancelled

It is with gut wrenching sadness that the Wildwood Motorcyclist Association must cancel the Maffra Mayhem Hard Enduro. The property owner has been left with no other option after finding out late this week that the Wellington Shire Council has missed a process in the planning stage that was approved before the entries went LIVE.

The Club was issued the relevant permits at the start of June with a limit of 200 riders and limitations to the Event approval that the land owner had done so well to tick all boxes, only to have an extra condition thrown in less than 3 weeks before.

Ross (event coordinator) started the permit process way back in February and have overcome many challenges they had thrown at him, but this one has no way around it to be now completed will 2 weeks. Even trying to work with the relevant authorities to try and find a solution but this close to the event the timeframe needed is impossible.

The Club and property coordinators we very sorry for everyone involved and it's certainly not the way we wanted it to end.

Ross will be working through this to bring the event back bigger and better in 2025 and I hope we can get your understanding and support next year.

We will be working on the Release of the Wildwood Entries over the next Month to close the year off.
